T.V. News Surrounding Mulleian's Controversial Epic Work, "Spring Crossing"
While working on this mural-sized painting, "Spring Crossing", Mulleian's controversial epic work, the crucifixion of Christ suggested by Professor Loren Ferri of 66 years of study, was filmed and aired on mainstream news stations, channels 2, 4 and channel 13. including radio talk Host Rolf Peterson. Soon after, U.P.S. (United Press International) picked up on this story from a 350 word article pertaining to Mulleian's "Spring Crossing".
In 1971 the "Arts and Industry Show" at San Francisco's Brooks Hall organized one of the country's biggest art exhibits, featuring a Mulleian exhibit. This monumental event had been described as the Wood Stock of the arts that lasted three weeks, attracting tens of thousands of people throughout the U.S. Mulleian's paintings, including "Spring Crossing" were featured on four news stations, (Channels 4, 7, 9 and channel 2) followed by national and international magazines and news paper articles during the 1970's to date, 2007.
